He was the father of Bojji and Daida, and the husband of Queen Hiling and his first wife, Shiina. On his deathbed, Bosse affirmed Bojji's right to succession. However, there were those among the royal court who believed that Bojji's physical shortcomings made him unfit to rule and that his arrogant but physically capable younger half-brother, Prince Daida, was more suited for ascension. Chief among these dissenters was Bosse's widow and Daida's mother, Queen Hiling, who called for a vote to circumvent Bosse's will and forgo Bojji's right to succession. The vote was passed and Daida was placed upon the throne. Having been denied his birthright, Bojji requested he be allowed to undertake a journey so that he may gain experience and grow stronger. Unbeknownst to both of them, Daida, under the influence of an enigmatic figure, had set in motion a sinister plot to consolidate his power and achieve the position of number one in the Ranking of Kings.
